Billerica's utopia, begun in 1913, will be the subject of Pat Henry at the February 9, 2014 public meeting of the Middlesex Canal Association. Pat's thesis for her master's degree in planning was Billerica's utopia. The thesis is published here. She is a daughter of the late Billerica police lieutenant, Hank Henry, and Claire (McDonough) Henry.
The Billerica Garden Suburb is one of the utopias described in Robert Campbell's "Forgotten Utopias", published in the Boston Globe, which won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Criticism, http://www.pulitzer.org/archives/5828
